Choosing the right outfit for a big event is no easy feat, especially when that event is a double celebration – Emirates Woman, Woman Of The Year Awards 2016 and the 35th birthday of Emirates Woman magazine.

However, with our party guests raising the bar in the style stakes we didn’t want to let you down.

There were numerous dress changes, last minute dashes to Marks & Spencer’s lingerie department, a couple of safety pins, too many false lashes and a ton of hairspray.

But we managed to get to the venue on time, and hopefully you will agree, looking suitably stylish. Here’s what we wore.
