The Winston Churchill suite at St Regis Dubai Hotel costs Dhs75,000 a night. That’s Dhs3,125 a hour (if you check in and check out at noon), or Dhs52 a minute. Could this be the best suite in Dubai?
High cost doesn’t always translate into high quality. Sometimes a premium location in Dubai can see prices skyrocket, but at the St Regis Dubai Hotel Winston Churchill suite this isn’t the case.
Yes, the location in Al Habtoor City makes it a hot spot but it’s what the suite offers that gives it it’s lofty price tag.
The spacious two-storey suite was formally debuted in April in the presence of Randolph Churchill, the great grandson of the inspirational statesman, writer, orator and Prime Minister who led Britain to victory during WWII and Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of Al Habtoor Group.
A suite-cum-museum dedicated to Churchill, it houses a collection of 15 paintings and art pieces from the Churchill archives that include portraits and photographs of the legendary statesman, paintings he mastered himself, and a well maintained Cuban cigar that once belonged to him from the private collection of Chairman Khalaf Al Habtoor.

Access to the premium space is via a private lift that goes direct to the suite. You arrive in a corridor and are greeted by a giant portrait of Sir Winston Churchill and the historical experience begins.
The suite’s pièce de résistance is a majestic in-room spiral staircase that leads into the central dome of the hotel, where a rooftop plunge pool, terrace area and bar offers panoramic views of the landscaped gardens and surrounds.
Here’s what Dhs75,000 a night gets you.
The 913-square-metre three-bedroom suite (which is bigger than the hotel’s ballroom) takes over the top floors of the hotel.
There are three double bedrooms, a vast living room, a formal 12-seater dining room, elegant study, relaxing lounge area, a huge kitchen and a spacious majlis that is ideal for meetings.
Upstairs there is an elegant plunge pool and terrace with state-of-the-art sound system and a fully stocked bar.
There’s no chance of being caught out here as the room hosts six toilets and bidets.
All the bedrooms are en-suite with plunge baths. The gigantic bathroom for the master bedroom is stocked with Acqua di Parma toiletries, including a mini manicure kit. The other bedrooms have Remède products.
The master bedroom also has separate male and female walk-in dressing rooms.
The upstairs swimming pool area has a state of the art Bose sound system, that will really help get the party started.
Each bedroom and the two living rooms have flat screen TVs, which are almost as big as a cinema screen.
The Butler Service
The room comes with your own butler who will greet you with the signature St Regis Golden Mary (see vide below). The butler is there at your beck and call, and can be reached via a dedicated WhatsApp number or via email, or through the old school manner via the hotel phone. The butler’s services include unpacking and repacking your bags, making tea and coffee as well as cocktails and drinks.
Golden Mary’s at @stregisdubai.
