Just in time for what has been tipped as one of the hottest weeks in UAE history, is the launch of a super bespoke ice cream delivery service.
That’s right, we’re pleased to announce that Uber have teamed up with Magnum ice cream this Friday to help you beat the heat by delivering ice creams straight to your door.
With temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi shooting up by four degrees this weekend, making it feel as if it’s actually 64 degrees Celsius. The decadent service couldn’t have come at a better time.
If you happen to be hanging around The Walk at JBR or are out on a boat, then Uber will go as far as to deliver your ice cream via jet ski.
While it’s not quite a throwback to the days of ice cream trucks roaming the streets with their little jingles, it’s safe to say that having an ice cream delivered to you by a nicely dressed man in a Lexus is quite possibly one of the most ‘Dubai’ things we’ve heard all year.
The #UberIceCream service is available in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi – and can be ordered via the Uber app by selecting the ‘Ice Cream’ option.
An Uber car (or jet ski) will then rock up at your house with a selection of six Magnum bars for a flat fee of Dhs40, delivery charge included.

The Uber Ice Cream service will be available from 2pm to 6pm on Friday, where temperatures are expected to reach a sweltering 46ºC.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Uber pull off something crazy in Dubai. Remember the Uber yacht party? The Uber Chopper? An Uber ride in a Lamborghini Aventador with British racecar driver Oli Webb?
The ice cream delivery event is part of Uber’s annual #UberIceCream day, which will see Magnum bars available for delivery on demand across 30 countries in six continents.
