Pop singer and heartthrob Zayn Malik has pulled out of his upcoming London gigs, leaving Dubai fans in a state of panic as they question, will he cancel his concert in the UAE.
We can understand the panic, too. This is how his departure from One Direction all started back in 2015, Zayn Malik began missing the odd concert here and there, citing a series of different excuses, until he eventually decided to pull the plug on his relationship with the boy band, officially announcing he was quitting to go solo.
UK fans were left disappointed when the star failed to perform at the Summertime Ball. This not only would’ve been the first time Malik and his ex-finance Perry Edwards would’ve shared the same stage since their split, but it also would’ve marked Malik’s first solo gig.

The 23 year old put his no-show down to anxiety issues, but, luckily, for fans in the UAE, the Pillow Talk singer has assured event organisers that he will continue to perform live at the Autism Rocks Arena on October 7 for one night only. The concert is part of his tour, with Dubai being his first stop in the Middle East.

She said in her supportive Tweet: “Z – I’ve seen the battles you go through and the way you fight to get to a place that allows you to get up there for your fans. Your bravery in those times makes me proud, but your honesty last night proved what you’re all about, being real. Human recognises human. You made the best of the situation and have given your fans an opportunity to understand you better as a performer.”
