When Senior Editor Sophia asked me to interview Roger Federer I actually squealed in her office. Not only is this man one of the most talented tennis players on the earth, he’s also a dream to look at.
Here’s what I got up to on the day of my most memorable interview to date…
9:30 am | Breakfast 444m off the ground at the Burj Khalifa
Physically and mentally prepping for my big moment with R-Fed
10:30am | Roger makes his first morning appearance – major swoon!
12:00pm | Lunch at the classy 101 at the One& Only on the Palm, my mode of transport was a yacht, of course.
Relaxing on the yacht with Moet & Chandon’s Agathe
2:00pm | A quick wardrobe change and I’m ready to interview the man himself. He wore Dolce & Gabbana and Dior.
08:00pm | Cocktail hour, yes can you I believe I met him for a third time but this time we sipped bubbles and chatted without a dictaphone in sight
I can reveal, not only handsome and talented, Roger Federer was charming, funny and extremely charismatic.
