The Swedish 26 year old is known worldwide for his party anthems, and it seems Avicii is set to bring them to Dubai this coming April when he plays at the World Trade Centre.
Despite having not even hit his thirties yet, superstar Avicii has already become a household name – having been crowned the third best DJ in the world by DJ Magazine two years in a row, in 2012 and 2013. His hit song Wake Me Up is also the most streamed song in history (2.6 billion times to be precise), and he even won the American Music Award in 2013 for Favourite Electronic Dance Music Artist (just one of many of his music awards and nominations).

He’s also collaborated with some of the best music talents throughout his career, including David Guetta, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Martin and Martin Garrix, to name a few.
Back in 2015 Avicii was was scheduled to play a set at The Atlantis, but cancelled due to chronic abdominal pain – which ended up in the removal of his gall bladder and appendix. He vowed to make up for it in 2016, and with news that Avicii is coming to Dubai it looks like he’s sticking to his promise.
Now that he’s coming, fans can also get excited for some new tunes off his latest studio album Stories, which was released in October last year and was the fourth most-streamed album of the year on Spotify, as well as hitting the top 10 of the charts in more than 15 countries.

Oh, and of course, expect to hear fan favourites Levels, Hey Brother, Wake Me Up and Addicted To You.
There are limited early bird tickets available, which cost Dhs295 and can be found here, otherwise regular tickets are Dhs395, and go on sale from February 11 at PlatinumList and Virgin Megastore. Make sure to nab a ticket before they run out.
