Dubai is fast becoming the City of Models. It seems we can’t go a week without a Victoria’s Secret Angel or a supermodel gracing our shores, and tomorrow (January 20) is certainly no different with Adriana Lima, Toni Garrn and Isabeli Fontana heading to Four Season Dubai for the launch of new scent Raw Spirit.
The gorgeous trio will be heading to Jean-George restaurant in Four Seasons Dubai as the guests of renowned fashion photographer Russell James, who has stepped from behind the lens to launch a unisex perfume.

The name and theme of the scent, Raw Spirit, is inspired by Russell’s collaborative art project in the Australian outback, the mountains of Haiti and the Florida Everglades – “our premium fragrances are born out of experiencing unique spirits and culture of some of the world’s oldest communities.”

Behati Prinsloo is the wife of Maroon 5’s Adam Levine
Model Behati Prinsloo, also the wife of Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, is the face of the brand. However, the blonde beauty won’t be able to attend the launch event due to prior engagements. That said she will be there in, ahem, raw, spirit, posting about the launch night across her social media channels as it happens.

Also, updating fans, who can’t make the event in Dubai, is reality TV princess and catwalk model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner whose vast social media following is set to make this one of the biggest live fashion events in the region.

Russell James is in Dubai to launch Raw Spirit
Russell James is an Australian photographer who has become synonymous with provocative and unique perspectives of models and Hollywood stars. His work has been published in Vogue, W, Marie Claire, GQ, Sports Illustrated, and many more.

His diverse photographic portfolio ranges from projects with Hermès in association with Guggenheim, to advertising campaigns for global brands such as Rolex, Donna Karan International, Victoria’s Secret, Evian and Revlon.

The first Raw Spirit fragrance was launched in 2013 as part of a collaborative art project with Nomad Two Worlds, which explores the clash of ancient and modern cultures and celebrates the richness of indigenous and marginalised communities around the world. There are now several fragrances including Wild Fire, Winter Oak and Desert Blush.
100ml bottles of the Raw Spirit perfumes will be available to buy at the event and will be sold in House of Fraser and Areej.
