Just in time for the launch of Star Wars, which hits cinemas this Thursday in the UAE, our favourite fashion icons have had an interesting makeover.

A new breed of intergalactic style has launched to celebrate the anticipated release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The Stylight Team that brought us the minionistas decided to do what they do best and magically transformed the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour and Cara Delevingne into the cool and classic Star Wars characters that we all fell in love with.

The legendary franchise shot scenes for the film in Abu Dhabi and will premiere on December 17. Check out fashion’s biggest icons as they get transformed into the galaxy’s most famous faces.

Miley Binks to Jar Jar Binks’ whose primary role in Star Wars is to ‘provide comic relief’ for the audience and we have to say this does ring true of Miley Cyrus too! Her kooky outfits and outrageous dance moves always get the audience talking!

R-2 Gaultier as Brave droid R2-D2 who plays a longstanding role in Star Wars and is one of the only characters to appear in all 7 films and will also be present in The Force Awakens. Given his well-established role in the fashion world and R2-D2 inspired trademark blue and white features we mixed French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier with the mini droid.

The Stormtrooper’s distinctive monochrome uniform made them a perfect match with inimitable designer Karl Lagerfeld who’s always sporting his trademark black and white suit. And we couldn’t forget his furry sidekick Choupette who looks like she should have always been a mini stormtrooper!
