Following his recent anti-Muslim comments, in which he insisted if made President of the US he will ban all Muslims coming into he country, Donald Trump has further landed himself in hot water in the Middle East after a viscous Twitter spat with Prince Alwaleed bin Talal of Saudi.
Donald Trump and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal battled it out on Twitter after the prince called the businessman a “disgrace”.
Taking to social media to express his feeling toward the controversial frontrunner for the Republican nomination, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who is the chairman of Kingdom Holding, wrote: “You are a disgrace not only to the GOP [Republican Party] but to all America.” Adding: “Withdraw from the US presidential race as you will never win.”

Trump responded with a personal insult: “Dopey Prince @Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy’s money. Can’t do it when I get elected.”
Comments made by the reality TV show star has seen him lose out on business deals in the Middle East. Landmark Group’s Lifestyle, a retail giant, announced they will stop selling Trump products in all 195 of their stores across the Middle East.

Meanwhile, real estate firm Damac, which is building a US$6 billion golf complex with Trump, saw Donald’s name and image stripped off its billboards. However, it’s unsure whether the removal of Trump assets was deliberate or whether it was part of vandalism.
Raed Gerges, vice president of communications for Damac told the National: “We cannot comment on the situation. Obviously you can see what has happened, but I have no comment on it. We will replace the images but I cannot say what the images will be yet.”
