Dancing along at Blaze
If you’ve been known to pop and lock, attempt the caterpillar, or even break out the old school running man on a night out, then Blaze is for you. The hit international show has been choreographed by some of the best street dancers in the business – including some who have performed alongside the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna and Rihanna – and it’s arrived in Dubai for one weekend only. Catch a showing tonight at 7.30pm, or tomorrow at 2.30pm or 7.30pm. Tickets cost from Dhs125.

Brunching at Nobu
We’re feeling fancy, so we’re going to take a trip to Atlantis this Friday and sample Nobu’s revamped High Brunch. Diners get to try some of the restaurant’s best known dishes; including the black cod and the spicy chicken tacos, plus specialties like eggs benedict with crispy rice. All washed down with cocktails or bubbles.

Treating ourselves to some post-summer skin smoothing
The cooler weather is so close we can practically taste it. We’ll be preparing to reacquaint ourselves with the outdoors at the Biolite Aesthetic Clinic, which is offering a discount on microdermabrasion for the month of August. This month, one session costs Dhs500 instead of Dhs750.

Watching the Man From U.N.C.L.E
We weren’t around to catch the TV show, but the stellar cast and crew behind this big screen remake has piqued our interest. It stars Henry Cavill (a.k.a Superman), Armie Hammer and Hugh Grant alongside rising star (and major EW style crush) Alicia Vikander. We’ll also be looking out for one David Beckham, close friend of director Guy Richie, who apparently makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in the movie.
