When ordinary mortals go to Glastonbury, it involves bulk buying dry shampoo and baby wipes, trudging for miles through rain and mud, and temporarily lowering your accepted standards of personal hygiene by at least two notches. Not so when you’re Kim Kardashian-West, who rocked up to see husband Kanye headline on Sunday night wearing a black maxi dress and a pair of strappy black heels. Of course, it helps when you’re choppering in to Worthy Farm instead of roaming the fields like the rest of the world.
It’s goodbye to Ben and Jen
They seemed like one of the most solid couples in celeb world, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s split was confirmed this week after months of speculation. We confess to emitting a small sob when the pair, who are parents to children Violet, Seraphina and Sam, announced their split on Tuesday after 10 years of marriage.
Donna Karan resigns
Fashion stalwart Donna Karan sent shockwaves through the industry as she announced she was stepping down as chief designer of her DKNY brand after 30 years at the helm. Karan, 66, plans to concentrate on her line of wellness and artisanal products, Urban Zen, along with her philanthropic commitments. According to owners LVMH there are no immediate plans to replace the designer.
Miranda Kerr nailed our dream vacay wardrobe
Short of actually getting on a plane and escaping the 70 per cent humidity, the only way to enjoy summer in Dubai is vicariously, and it was Miranda Kerr‘s Instagram snaps of her trip to Austria that had us dreaming of a European getaway this week. The flippy sundress, the fresh white kicks, the scooter… we like to think this is how The Talented Mr Ripley’s Marge Sherwood would have rolled in 2015. Bravo.
