You will have seen a lot of images of late showing style icon Olivia Palermo in the UAE, looking her fabulous best. However, what you wouldn’t have known is why she was gracing our shores. The answer is simple – she was a guest of Emirates Woman and Cartier to star as our March cover girl.
Stunning American blogger Olivia Palermo braved the sandstorms and jetted to the UAE – in Emirates First Class, naturally – leaving the snowstorms of New York behind her, albeit for three days.
Here she happily followed our demanding 4am shoot schedule, turning up as a consummate professional, never once complaining and stoically smiling through stinging eyes and mouthfuls of gritty sand. Wearing the latest spring/summer 2015 trends and draped in dazzling Cartier jewels,the result was a gorgeous desert shoot (shot on location at Al Maha Resort) complete with falcons, camels and rolling dunes.
