Jennifer Lawrence’s presence was sadly missed at this year’s Oscars following her stumbling entrance at last year’s red carpet. However, helping to fill the J.Law void, Dior has stepped in and treated us to a brand new campaign starring the Academy Award-winning actress modelling its latest Be Dior handbag.
In the stunning new advertising campaign the 24-year-old actress perfectly showcases the new Be Dior line against a minimalistic backdrop whilst wearing a slim-fitting dress from the brand’s spring/summer 2015 collection by Raf Simons.
The advert was shot by renowned Italian photographer Paolo Roversi, who perfectly captures Jennifer Lawrence’s calm beauty and captivating aura as she boldly stares into the camera. Jennifer, who shot to fame as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games, has been a spokesmodel for Dior since 2012, following in the footsteps of actresses Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.
The new Be Dior collection comes in a variety of colours (we adore the yellow hue) and textures, and features the trademark Dior charm. A mini video teaser will be revealed on dior.com this Thursday with the actress, who has signed up with the brand for another three years, revealing what she carries her bag. In case you’re wondering it’s “Wallet, phone, keys — if I can remember them — ChapStick and a little perfume”.
