Honestly, we haven’t spent all morning watching Christmas campaigns, quietly shedding a tear and giggling in to our coffee… Ok, ok, it’s true. If there’s one thing that gets us in the mood for the holiday season it’s watching all the festive adverts that are coming in thicker and faster than we can say “pop it on the wish list”.
The latest to get our attention is kate spade new york’s short movie, The Waiting Game, starring Hollywood sweetheart, Anna Kendrick. Filmed in New York, the pretty actress returns to her apartment laden with kate spade new york shopping bags, and her little dog in tow, while wearing a snug leopard print faux-fur pea-coat.
On arrival back at her pad, Anna realises, like the best of us, that she’s locked herself out of the house. What better way to pass the time than to try on all her fun and fabulous kate spade new york purchases while she waits for the locksmith to come and let her in. And for the best bit – no, it’s not the guest appearance from a fabulous fashion icon (we won’t spoil it for you!) – you can actually click on the clothes and accessories Anna is wearing, leading you to a separate link to purchase right away. Clever, huh?
With a fun twist to the ending we’re dying to know what’s next in store for the young New Yorker in the next short movie by kate spade new york. With the #missadventure for all of the short films, we’re bound to be amused!
We’ve already shown you the Topshop, Burberry and Mulberry festive ads but here are some other Christmas videos we can’t get enough of…
Academy Award-winning director Sofia Coppola directed four commercials for GAP’s holiday campaign. Each advert ends with the tagline “You don’t have to get them to give them GAP”.
John Lewis have now become synonymous for their festive ads and we can understand why.
The Boot’s advert is sure to pull on your heartstrings.
Gone is the all-star cast from last year, who are replaced by two playful fairies – Magic & Sparkle – causing havoc around town in the Marks & Spencer campaign.
World War One doesn’t usually spring to mind when thinking of festivities, but in partnership with The Royal British Legion, and to mark 100 years since the war, this advert (inspired by real events) is, believe it or not, for British supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.
Harrods invites you to discover The Land Of Make Believer in their adorable animated ad.
Last but not least, what is a festive season without a Coca-Cola Happy Holidays campaign… Give a little happiness.
