Victoria’s Secret model and runway queen Karlie Kloss has been named L’Oréal Paris’ newest spokesmodel joining fellow model pals, Natasha Poly, Barbara Palvin and Lara Stone.
We’ve always had a major girl crush on the 22-year-old, six-foot-something brunette who’s all legs, glowing skin and swingy bobbed waves, and we couldn’t think of a more perfect fit for the role – Karlie Kloss is totally worth it!
The American star was chosen by the French beauty giant, L’Oréal Paris, because of her “powerful walk, unique freshness and amazing energy.” Speaking of their latest model recruit a spokesperson for their brand said: “On catwalks where she catches lights with such intensity, through brilliant studies or a hectic New Yorker life, Karlie is definitely the perfect combination between grace and modernity, intelligence and hard work. L’Oréal Paris is all about inspiring women taking the best of their whole potential.”
It seems Karlie is equally thrilled about her new role and speaking in a behind-the-scenes video about L’Oréal’s famous tag line she said: “I’ve waited my whole life to say: ‘Because I’m worth it’. It is something that has been around since before I was born. I have always believed that you have to be confident in yourself. Anything can happen if you really work at it. Never give up. This for me is what L’Oréal Paris does. This is why I am so proud to join this inspiring team.”
Karlie first came on our radar in 2008 when she was scouted by Teen Vogue and has since then had us obsessing and envying over her glowing skin and never-ending pins. In September 2012 she appeared on the cover of British Vogue and has since appeared in a string of beauty campaigns including Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior. Earlier this year she was also unveiled as the new face of Chanel’s Coco Noir fragrance. You go girl!
