Q.) I’ve just moved to Abu Dhabi from Dubai, where are some good spots to get pampered?
A.) Head to Dashing Nails salon (soon to be rebranded as Be Dashing), they have three locations in the capital and are launching more soon across the UAE. They’ve got a great range of colours, knowledgeable beauty therapists who offer top-to-toe treatments including eyelash extensions and body massages and they’ll make you feel perfectly pampered during your visit – have fun! dashingllc.com
Q.) I’ve just dyed my hair platinum blonde and it’s making me look a little washed out, even with a tan, what can I do?
A.) Bright blondes can sometimes have this effect especially if you’re pale skinned in the first place. Whatever happens, don’t try and overcompensate with fake tan to warm up the skin, it will just end up looking cheap. I’d opt for a light-reflecting bronzer on the tops of the cheekbones and on the décolletage to add a subtle, natural glow to the face.
Q.) I really want to upgrade my perfume to something a little more exotic and unique. I’m looking for a scent no one will recognise, do you have any suggestions?
A.) I’ve got just the bottle for you! I’m certain the Fatale Black perfume from Agent Provocateur is exactly what you’re looking for. It’s spicy, warm, musky and a little tropical plus, as it’s a new launch, I guarantee you’ll be one of the first to make it your signature scent. Intriguing notes of gourmet chocolate, Spanish leather and spicy pink pepper will have people asking what you’re wearing all day long.
