THE RUNDOWN: This lazy girls bootcamp for butts promises to tighten up your seat, rid unwanted water retention and eliminate cellulite through the use of lotions, potions and a hands on approach.
THE RESULT: After the body brushing, exfoliation and a tingling lime acid peel, a soothing masque was applied to my buttocks and upper thighs. Then came the relaxing part as the therapist proceeded with a lymphatic drainage massage on my feet and lower legs using lotions from the Mamma Mio range that sent me into a light slumber. Post treatment, my derrière felt ultra-smooth and looked firm.

THE RUNDOWN: The intensive anti-cellulite body care contains plant-based active ingredients and essential oils promises to target the appearance of orange peel skin. Longan seed, red algae and Indian lotus extracts, caffeine and oil cedrol make up a creamy texture, which is massaged into the area twice a day for four weeks to see the effects.
THE RESULT: I really focused on the application of this product, spending five minutes scrupulously rubbing and massaging it onto my legs. The white gel is lightweight, with a fresh scent and was absorbed well. Instantly leaving me with a firm, moisturised appearance, after just one application. After four weeks my skin felt tighter with a visible reduction in lines.

THE RESULT: After informing the therapist of my problem areas, she marked my skin with a pen. After applying gel, she clamped the excess fat with the LipoCryo machine, which sucked up the skin like a Hoover and then cooled the target zone. After the non-painful, yet uncomfortable, treatment I was told I’d see results in up to 45 days. One week later I noticed definite smoothness in the area, however, I’m unsure if this was due to the treatment or my two-week NYLA workout course.

THE RESULT: After choosing my specific target areas, the therapist took my measurements before massaging my body with the So-Up Reloaded machine that pinches the skin and promotes blood circulation. Once prepped the therapist changed the device head, this time using one that emits radio frequencies and ultrasound waves. The process not only promotes drainage of toxins but also accelerates fat metabolism. After 10 minutes the target areas were smothered in a soothing gel and wrapped in a plastic sheet for 10 minutes. Once complete, the therapist took my measurements, again. I lost a total of 1.5cm in less than an hour. While quicker than a fitness class, the therapist recommends, for best results, to follow a healthy eating and exercise plan.
