Born in Manila, Ezra always admired the couture dresses of the 1940s and 1950s so he went on to study fine arts at the Philippine Women’s University and then fashion design at Slims Fashion and Arts School. He embarked on further studies at Central St Martins where he refined his cutting and draping skills.
After extensive travel the designer found himself in Saudi Arabia where he flourished creating clothes for Saudi’s fashion-conscious elite. During the 1990s, Ezra joined one of Dubai’s leading fashion houses and has now opened his own atelier in Jumeirah. For inspiration, Ezra looks to Dior, Erte, Lacroix and Galliano. He creates dreamy, extravagant designs known for their delicacy and finely crafted embellishments.
