Ladies, we need to collectively thank Calvin Klein, because they just did us a solid. They’ve cast our favourite Chicago chef a.k.a Jeremy Allen White as the face of their Fall 2024 campaign. And let’s just say, we’ve found a new common screen saver.
If you’ve ever found yourself daydreaming about JWA clad in nothing but a pair of jeans with his signature brood, then this campaign is your personal heaven.
It’s refreshing to see him outside of the anxiety-inducing reel-life role he plays on the show. The haunted eyes, the weight of the world on his shoulders, the silent scream behind his focused exterior – it all makes his character all the more appealing, but let’s face it, the ladies will never see a calm chef Carmy chilling by the pool. The broken man portrayal is fun to watch, but it’s equally exciting to see him in a persona where he’s not about to explode like a ticking bomb.
The campaign, shot by the legendary Mert Alas, is a visual feast for the eyes. Jeremy’s sun-kissed skin, his tousled hair, and the deepest blue eyes are on full display.
But it’s not just about the visuals. It’s also about the soundtrack. The campaign is set to “Crimson and Clover” by The Shacks, and it’s the perfect accompaniment to Jeremy’s rockstar vibe.
So, thank you, Calvin Klein, for giving us this gift. Thank you for recognizing the power of a man who can make us swoon with just a glance. And thank you for reminding us that sometimes, all we need is a little bit of Jeremy Allen White in our lives.
