Every year Moet & Chandon throw an uber-glamorous, larger-than-life party at the Dubai International Film Festival and this year was no different.
The Great Gatsby-themed party was hosted after the hotly anticipated regional premiere of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, which took place just around the corner at the Madinat Arena. Party guests, dressed in their finest, were greeted at the open-air venue Fort Island Platform with, of course, tiny bottles of bubbles.
Dressed as elegantly as the guests was the venue itself with swaying, gold-fringed palm trees, lavish gold balloons and free-flowing chilled bubbles at every turn – very Gatsby.
Entertainment was provided by Dubai’s flamboyant cabaret club The Act, the highlight of which was a powerful rendition of Nina Simone’s classic hit Feeling Good by Aimeé Sophia on a glittering gold stage.
The crowd was filled with a bevy of VIPs including Rashmi Kumari and Rami Al Ali, Diala Makki. Emirates Woman’s Sophia Serin and Jade Sprowson were also in attendance. Find our pick of the best-dressed below.
