“Glamorous, flirty and feminine,” L’Wren Scott tells Emirates Woman of her new collaboration with high street store Banana Republic, launching today at The Dubai Mall.
Known for dressing Hollywood royalty, including Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole Kidman, in her ready-to-wear-collection, the 6ft 3in American designer has now set her sights on the high street, creating a 50+ piece ‘holiday’ capsule collection for Banana Republic.
“I’ve created a collection to celebrate woman and what better time to do that than the holidays? This is a time of year when women are more likely to be a bit more adventurous with their looks,” says the former model and stylist. “I’m excited to see how the customers will style the looks.”

The collection is brimming with Scott’s design aesthetic, with her understated glamour present in the sequin cocktail dresses, jewel-toned fabrics, lace pencil skirts and silk pyjama sets – “they’re perfect for lounging around at home,” she says.
“The sequin shift dress, is my favourite,” continues Scott who is dating rock legend Mick Jagger. “The fit is feminine and flirty and will be perfect paired with a daring heel.”
