We use a specially formulated adhesive that is gentle on the eyes. It’s hypoallergenic and free from harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, ensuring a comfortable experience without burning or irritation.
Can you tell us more about the quality of lashes used at the salon?
At the salon, we prioritise quality and safety and therefore chose a popular British brand for our lash products. The lashes we use are made from premium materials like silk or faux mink, which are lightweight, natural-looking, and durable. They are also cruelty-free, aligning with our commitment to ethical beauty practices.
What shouldn’t a client do before and after an eyelash procedure?
Before the procedure, clients should avoid applying eye makeup and should come with clean lashes. After the procedure, it’s important to avoid steam for the first 24 hours, not use oil-based makeup removers, and avoid rubbing or pulling the lashes.
What about the natural lashes? How harmful is it is for them?
When applied and maintained correctly, eyelash extensions don’t harm natural lashes. Our technicians are trained to apply lashes in a way that doesn’t damage the natural lash line. Regular breaks and proper aftercare can also help maintain the health of natural lashes.

For first-timers, I always recommend starting with a more natural lightstyle to see how comfortable you are with extensions and increase the volume if you wish. It’s also crucial to follow the aftercare guidance we give to maintain the health of your natural lashes and the longevity of the extensions.
How often do you suggest for clients to come back for a refill?
Typically, clients should come back for a refill every 2-3 weeks. This varies depending on how well you take care of your extensions and your natural lash growth cycle. We do offer in SISTERS infills from 1 week for the guests who want full, thick lashes all day long.

Professionally removing your lashes ensures that your natural lashes aren’t damaged. Picking or pulling them out at home can lead to premature shedding of your natural lashes and weaken the lash line.
What are the main trends that you’ve noticed in the UAE? Is it more natural or volume lashes that customers are steering towards?
In the UAE, there’s a diverse preference. However, recently we’ve noticed a slight inclination towards more natural-looking lashes, though volume lashes still remain popular for those seeking a more dramatic look. A lot of our guests ask for the famous ‘Kim Kardashian’ look which we’re also fans of too.
