“Starting a make-up line felt like a wonderful opportunity to transmit a spirit and encourage people to express themselves,” said Marc Jacobs of his eponymous beauty line, which launched in the UAE with an incredible party at Caudro Gallery, DIFC last night.
The Marc Jacobs beauty range is his second foray into the cosmetic world, having already produced several fragrances for men and women, and the designer took plenty of time to ensure the products and packaging reflected his strict standards. With the collection encompassing professional make-up in vivid colours, innovative skincare products and sleek tools, we’re not really sure how we’ve survived this long without it.
EW’s favourite highlights include the Style Eye-Con eyeshadow pallets created with British make-up artist Diane Kendal that are colour-coded according to different iconic looks including The Vamp and The Starlet.
