Burberry Summer 2024: Daniel Lee gives the classics a quirky treatment

Daniel Lee unveiled a rather elegant-yet-edgy collection for the Burberry Summer 2024 edition.

It was a celebration of lightness, allure, grace, and charm – all things associated with the luxury British desi.The brand’s essence evolves, spanning attire, handbags, footwear, accessories, and jewellry. An ode to outdoor living, reimagining the iconic trench coat for the summer season.

Prints take centre stage – jewellery and hardware transformed into hand-painted masterpieces and recurring motifs. The overarching shapes of the silhouettes remain contemporary, but with elements of extention – think boxy shoulders and exaggerated collars.

Celebrities like Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Naomi Campbell and Taylor Zakhar Perez graced the front row – dressed head-to-toe in Burberry’s latest creations.

This showcase offered a fresh reinterpretation – prints took centre stage, jewellery and hardware transformed into hand-painted masterpieces and recurring motifs. The waistlines went dangerously low, yet it was all quintessentially burberry. The collection demonstrated experimentation, while still treauring the components that make it Britain’s go-to luxury brand.
