Expand your culinary experiences and try eating in the dark! Noire at Spectrum On One, Fairmont Hotel Dubai invites guests to experiment with blind dining. Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from 7.30pm to 10pm, guests who book a table to trial the new concept will be sat in complete darkness – night vision glasses are provided – for one-and-a-half hours, while they are served a three-course meal. The idea is that by reducing your senses you will be able to concentrate more on the textures, smells and flavours of the food. Dhs27 from each dinner experience will be donated to Sightsavers, an organisation that works in more than 30 developing countries for the restoration of sight. Three-course meal costs Dhs325.
