Following on from the colossal success of the Streamliner All-steel, the guys at Swiss watchmakers H.Moser & Cie have done it again, although this time they have us seeing gold.
The Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack draws you in like a black hole documentary of the abyss on Discovery Channel.
The timepiece was developed at the National Physical Laboratory with technology frequently found in scientific tools such as infrared cameras, telescopes, and by the military in thermal camouflage whilst the Carbon nanotube coating is also known as the darkest of the dark. Used in art, cars, and now watches.
Unexpected and fun, it packs all the technical details as its processor. Still, this time with extra striking details such as the Vantablack dial, complemented with a one-minute flying tourbillon and automatic HMC 804 calibre movement.
The watch dial is adorned with Red gold hands fixed from the back with Globolight white markings, all perfectly protected behind a sapphire crystal face.
A 40.0mm surrounding case is constructed from 5N red gold, similar to rose gold but with a hue of copper for a distinctive finish and an integrated bracelet has articulating links for a meticulous satin feel when worn on the wrist, which the timepiece collection has become renowned for.
It’s safe to say; that The Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack is an understated powerhouse that will add confidence to your next board meeting or a conversational addition to a black-tie event.
