Her Highness Sheikha Sana Al Maktoum has inaugurated a brand new breast clinic at a Dubai-based hospital as the UAE continues to lead the battle against breast cancer.
Last week, Her Highness paid a visit to Fakeeh University Hospital where she opened its new Breast Centre that “aims to provide dedicated and comprehensive breast care and oncoplastic services to those in need”.
In a series of photos shared on her official Instagram page, Sheikha Sana was seen with hospital staff as she cut the ribbon, officially inaugurating the new Breast Centre.
Her Highness also heard the stories of many breast cancer survivors and current patients, something she described as a “very special” experience.

“It was very special for me to inaugurate Fakeeh University Hospital’s new Breast Clinic and meet as well as hear from the courageous breast cancer fighters on the panel,” she said in the caption of her post.
“These women truly empower me with their strength and resilience.”
Sheikha Sana, founder of her own eponymous jewellery brand Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery, also addressed patients, survivors and hospital staff in a speech where she thanked them for allowing her to open the new state-of-the-art centre.
