As we enter into the final two months of Expo 2020 Dubai, floods of visitors continue to rush in to experience the incredible mega-event.
However, it’s not every day you’ll be able to meet one of the visionary leaders of the UAE at Expo 2020, but some lucky students were in for a treat during their visit earlier this week.
In a video shared to Instagram, the group of schoolchildren were lined up posing for a photo, but what they were unaware of was that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was standing right behind them.
The footage, shared by Khalifa Saeed on Instagram, showed the children being treated to the royal surprise. His Highness then took the time to have a chat with the students.

Similarly, back in October, at the start of Expo 2020, Sheikh Mohammed made a little girl’s wish to meet him come true.
Heartbroken that she hadn’t seen the Dubai Ruler on her first trip to Expo 2020, the little girl returned only to be given a spectacular royal surprise – meeting His Highness for the first time.
Expo 2020 Dubai officially began last year on October 1, 2021, and will be a six-month-long extravaganza ending on March 31, 2022. The timings are from Saturday to Wednesday, 10am to 12am and Thursday and Friday 10am to 2am.
