Her Highness Sheikha Sana Al Maktoum marked the UAE’s 50th Year celebration by visiting the Al Noor Training Centre spending time with the students.
On November 29, 2021, in collaboration with the Noor Dubai Foundation, Her Highness spent time with a number of students of determination as they marked the nation’s Golden Jubilee.
Sheikha Sana heard from the students about their hopes, dreams and aspirations and explored their creative sides in a finger painting session.
Her Highness also led a storytelling session about the UAE’s native animals and also witness the UAE flag being hoisted by one of the student’s as part of their National Day parade.
Discussing the visit, Sheikha Sana described it as an “honour and privilege” to meet the students of the Al Noor Training Centre to celebrate with them and mark 50 years of the UAE.
“It was an honour and privilege to be part of the Al Noor Training Centre’s 50th UAE National Day celebrations in collaboration with the Noor Dubai Foundation,” she said. “I loved learning more and interacting with the students of determination through storytelling and a wonderful finger-painting class.”
Her Highness also noted how the lives and wellbeing of women and children are particularly dear to her.
She said: “The wellbeing of women and children have a special place in my heart, and this was a very special and inspirational visit for me – indeed, nothing is impossible!”
Discussing Sheikha Sana’s visit, the director of Al Noor, Ranjini Ramnath, said, “It was a pleasure having Her Highness Sheikha Sana visit Al Noor. We are grateful that she presided over the Centre’s national day celebrations and spent time getting to know our students.”
The Project Manager of the Noor Dubai Foundation, Mira Al Habtoor also added, “It was an honour to be part of this project with Her Highness as she is a key role model for future generations. We were honoured to be able to have an opportunity to shed light on humanitarian work with the children, as well as celebrate the creativity of the team.”

Sheikha Sana also recently shared a heartfelt message with Emirates Woman to mark the UAE’s Golden Jubilee where she recalled growing up in the UAE and witnessing it become the powerhouse it has become today.
“Growing up, I’ve seen the UAE go from a young nation and achieve milestone after milestone,” she said.
Sheikha Sana, the founder of her eponymous jewellery brand Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery, also shared how proud she was to be Emirati.
“I come from a culture and a country where it accepts all different nationalities and all different religions,” she said.
Looking to the future, Sheikha Sana highlighted how incredible His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision is for the next five decades and how proud she is to be a part of it.
“It’s amazing to see Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision for the next 50 years,” she said. “I’m so proud to continue his legacy forward.”
