Daphne Guinness, the fashion icon, muse, heiress and artist, can now add ‘recording artist’ to the mix. Fatal Flaw is her first single, and we’re obsessed.
Nick Knight, one of Britain’s most prominent fashion photographers, directed this digitized delight.
The video shows Daphne morphing into 3D protrusions of light and colour, which are spectacular and confusing at the same time.
This is quite tame for Knight, who also directed controversial videos such as Lady Gaga’s Born This Way and Björk’s Pagan Poetry.
According to Guinness, “This song came from broken bonds, fragmented dreams. In part, it’s about the sheer randomness of love and it’s illusionary effect.”
