This week’s Radar is Ramadan themed! So we’ve taken it upon ourselves to test out the top iftars in town.
THE SPLASH OUT …
Every year, Al Iwan in the Burj Al Arab goes all out with a lavish affair, perfect for special occasions.
The iftar celebrations usually kick off at around 7pm, so arrive on time to make the most of this indulgent spread.
Before hitting the buffet, start with a selection of Arabic juices and various hot and cold mezze.
Next up, enjoy delicacies from the Middle East and North Africa, including oven-roasted Gulf fish and baby lamb ouzi.
The chicken shawarma is a must-try and you’ll be going back for seconds – that is, if the selection of too-yummy-too-resist miniature desserts haven’t already distracted you!
Not only does the haute cuisine impress, but the decadent interior (think, gold, gold and more gold) will make for a memorable experience.
