While everyone has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic globally, those who are on the frontlines have been at the forefront of it all.
In an initiative to give back, bridal brand Espsosa announced last year it would be gifting free wedding gowns to frontline workers.
Nearly nine months on, Esposa revealed to Emirates Woman more than 90 brides-to-be, which includes many doctors and nurses, were gifted free wedding gowns.
Esposa documented a few of the brides’ experiences selecting their dream wedding gowns, which they shared their heartfelt thanks for.

Sharing the testimonials an Instagram highlights reel, one nurse, Rim Chehabm, expresses her gratitude towards the Esposa group for helping make her special day become a reality. “Thank you Esposa group for this special gift,” she said.
Nurse Marjana, who works with COVID-19 patients, shared her thanks to the brand, adding that she found her dream “beautiful wedding dress”.
Dr. Lara Lakis who has also been on the ground treating patients with COVID-19 shared that she was looking forward to wearing the gorgeous dress on her wedding day and is very grateful for this opportunity.
Esposa – a bridal boutique which has stores in Beirut, Dbayeh and Ramleh El Bayda in Lebanon and two stores in Dubai – announced their incredible initiative following the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.
“It’s hard not to notice all the sacrifice and risks nurses and doctors are taking nowadays to save our people, while we just stay at home with our loved ones,” Juliana Romanos, CEO of Esposa Group previously told EW. “This is our way to make them smile during their tough days and let them dream about their big day!”
It’s a family-run business headed up Juliana and her sisters Kristie and Jihane Romanos. It was founded in Lebanon by the Romanos family and has been growing steadily for the last 30 years.
The brand offers an exclusive selection of bridal and evening dresses which showcases the works of fashion designers worldwide including Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Zuhair Murad and more. They also house their own collection Esposacouture.
