Day by day things are returning to normal in Dubai – in the latest development of attractions and businesses reopening comes the famous Dubai Mall fountain.

The popular attraction is now back in action, per an announcement by the Dubai Media Office.

“The Dubai Fountain resumes outdoor musical shows with precautionary measures in place, including social distancing to ensure visitors safety,” the authority posted on Twitter.

Along with the announcement, Dubai Media Office also shared a video showcasing how social distancing measures are in place in-keeping with the current guidelines from the government in order to curb the further spread of COVID-19.

Malls are now permitted to operate at full capacity per an announcement made last week. However, it has not been made clear as to whether those over 60 or children under 12 will be allowed to enter, as they have previously been banned from entering shopping centres for health and safety reasons.

This latest phase in the reopening of the emirate comes after HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council unveiled the plans last week, which included curfew hours being changed from 8pm to 6am, to 11pm to 6am.

New guidelines have also been released in a circular to hotels whereby pools in establishments in Dubai can now reopen.
