Amidst the hardship, one bridal boutique is giving back to Lebanese and Emirati doctors and nurses brides-to-be serving COVID-19 patients.

Esposa – a bridal boutique which has stores in Beirut, Dbayeh and Ramleh El Bayda in Lebanon and two stores in Dubai – announced their incredible initiative a few days ago on Instagram.

“As an appreciation, Esposa Group would like to offer wedding gowns with their veils to all the Summer 2020 Lebanese and Emirati doctors and nurses brides-to-be,” their Instagram post stated.

Since then the brand has had “a lot” of brides-to-be reaching out, Juliana Romanos, CEO of Esposa Group told EW.

It’s a family-run business headed up Juliana and her sisters Kristie and Jihane Romanos. It was founded in Lebanon by the Romanos family and has been growing steadily for the last 30 years.

With all of their current clients having had to postpone their weddings, it got them thinking as to how they could give back to the doctors and nurses also affected.

“It’s hard not to notice all the sacrifice and risks nurses and doctors are taking nowadays to save our people, while we just stay at home with our loved ones,” the CEO said. “This is our way to make them smile during their tough days and let them dream about their big day!”

The brand offers an exclusive selection of bridal and evening dresses which showcases the works of fashion designers worldwide including Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Zuhair Murad and more. They also house their own collection Esposacouture.

As for the current situation, the Esposa boutiques have had to temporarily close.

“We have temporarily closed our stores in Lebanon and in Dubai following the respective government’s instructions,” the Romanos sisters said.

However, they have high hopes for the future.

“We hope that this outbreak finishes as soon as possible with minimal damages and we get into a rush of weddings happening in the summer of 2020,” they said.
