Founded by Kuwait-born designer Najeeba Hayat, her lace up creations not only pay a modern tribute to the Jane Eyre era, but they also focus on comfort thanks to low-heel design.
All made in Milan, Hayat was determined to create a luxury brand by working with the best manufacturers (those who create shoes for major brands such as Manolo Blahnik, Chanel, and Prada) and using the finest materials like Nappa and calf leathers. She also went out of her way to create her own lasts (the plastic mold used to create a shoe) once again confirming that this is a label that focuses on quality and fantasy.

Hayat has always been obsessed with fashion and instead of pursuing a career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she decided to travel to Italy where she spent three years mastering the craft and also learning Italian. Victorian fiction was another one of her passions. She frequently dipping into Dickens’ novels for inspiration, while also looking through the archives of Roger Vivier for Christian Dior. Her ambition is to design magical shoes with personality and wearability – think a comfortable corset for your feet.
