Happy Diwali!
After a busy couple of weeks for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the power couple are spending some much needed quality time together. They jetted to Cabo, Mexico to celebrate their first Diwali together as a married couple.
Last year, the Bollywood beauty introduced her American husband to Diwali taking him to Mumbai, India for the occasion. However, this time around, they opted to celebrate on the other side of the world – Mexico. Earlier today, Priyanka took to Instagram to share pictures from their trip, taking the Hindu Festival of Lights international.
The first picture of the slideshow shows Priyanka dressed in traditional sari, while she affectionately looks into Nicks eyes. The next photo features the loved-up couple and their friends posing for a happy group picture poolside. The third photo is a landscape shot of their villa, decorated with lights, which is a Diwali tradition. Even halfway across the world, Priyanka is making sure she keeps up with tradition.

Earlier this month, the power couple celebrated their first Karwa Chauth at a Jonas Brothers concert in Los Angeles. Both the stars took to social media to share pictures from the celebration and Nick took this opportunity to praise his wife. He captioned the post: “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!”
