Great news for moviegoers
Calling on all movie enthusiasts in Dubai, Roxy Cinemas launched their second boutique cinema, at hotspot La Mer. The cinema chain opened the region’s first boutique cinema experience in Box Park back in 2017.

The newly opened cinema in La Mer stands out as it offers moviegoers luxury seatings that are normally offered at VIP lounges for only AED 65. You can relax and call for your snacks from the comfort of your semi-reclining chair. If you are looking to take your experience one step further, you can get a ticket to the Roxy La Mer Experience, for AED 175, which includes: a starter, main, dessert and a mocktail.
When you purchase the Roxy La Mer Experience, your starters will be served in the bistro lounge, while your main dish will be delivered to you at your cinema seat. The menu includes wagyu beef burgers, glazed beef skewers and salads. There’s also a range of desserts, and of course you can still get your popcorn too!
The newly minted movie theater will be the first in the region to partner with SONY. Paul Fox, head of Roxy Cinemas commented on the agreement saying, “The partner ship will bring a world-class cinematic experience with crisp 4K visuals and Dolby sound to its four auditoria. This is how cinema should be experienced, and we look forward to welcoming guests to a space that delights all five senses.”
The new cinema which is Roxy’s fourth establishment in the city can be found just behind Laguna Waterpark in La Mer.
