She rose to fame after appearing in Kanye West’s show
The well known hijabi model Halima Aden will return to Dubai this week. She will be in the city to launch the Max Mara capsule collection at Fashion Avenue, in The Dubai Mall on October 22.

Halima Aden just visited the Kenyan refugee camp where she was born
Halima was a breakout star of Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5 in July 2017, after appearing in the show she went on to star in the Max Mara and Alberta Ferretti shows at Milan Fashion Week in 2017, and was also selected to front a campaign for Nike to celebrate 20-year classics collection.
It will be the model’s second trip to Dubai in four weeks, following her appearance at the Rihanna Fenty Beauty Masterclass on September 30.

She also visited the UAE twice last year, appearing in Modest Fashion Week and also taking party in Etihad Airways’ Runway to Runway campaign.
