The social media star received the award in a ceremony on the QE2.
Brand ambassador and luxury business developer Lara Tabet has won ATP’s 2018 Influencer Award.
The TV presenter received the award in a recent ceremony on Dubai’s floating hotel, the QE2. The award was presented to Tabet by ATP’s Anthony Tunstall, who travelled to Dubai from the United States for the occasion.
Originally from Lebanon, Tabet grew up in Dubai. She learned about the hospitality industry from her father, who owned several high quality hotels like G. Hospitality. After graduating from university in Switzerland, she started working for her father.
Tabet, who has 146,000 Instagram followers, now works as a business development manager for G. Hospitality, as well as serving as a spokeswoman on the Arab Fashion Council.
She also became a well-known face on television, having presented for events such as the ATP Tennis Championship, the Dubai World Cup, and the Dubai International Film Festival.
Tabet said it was her “undying love and dedication to her work that carries her to attain success after success”.
