We love Nouri Flayhan’s feminine, lyrical style.
There are a million different ways to discover your new favourite artist, but one you might not have expected is via an ad campaign.
That’s exactly how we came across Nouri Flayhan, though, and we can’t say we’re mad. The Lebanese illustrator is part of Gucci’s latest perfume launch, Acqua di Fiori.

The pieces she created for that series are immediately striking—Flayhan has a distinct, sketchy style that’s full of personality. The women she draws emanate warmth and humour.
“Together we rise from the waters, together we bloom, together we make the most beautiful field of flowers,” reads the text on this piece.
Flayhan often includes lines of poetry in her work, underlining her focus on women and nature. You can see why she was a good fit for the Gucci campaign.
We’re in love.
Flayhan is one of 15 female artists recruited for Gucci’s campaign, including Rome-based Emma Allegretti and London-born Joy Miessi.
Each woman worked on themes of friendship and our relationship with nature.
You can check them all out on the Italian fashion house’s Instagram—prepare to do a lot of screenshotting.
Acqua di Fiori is Gucci’s second fragrance under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, who took over at the start of 2015.
He’s revolutionised the brand both creatively and commercially.
And now we’re off to try this perfume…
