A favourite among royalty and Hollywood’s A-list, EW celebrate Tod’s D Bag – a bag that’s been toted for over a decade for its style and contribution to charity.
Any bag lover worth their salt will know the importance of the effortlessly elegant D Bag. Introduced in 1997 as part of the first ever Tod’s bag collection, it quickly gathered fame as it was spotted on the arms of celebrities including Cindy Crawford, Kristin Scott Thomas and Julianne Moore, and more recently, Charlize Theron, Diane Kruger and Naomi Watts.
Renowned for establishing itself with icons, Tod’s has recently collaborated with Florentine publishing house Electa to sponsor a photographic book to celebrate the life of the late Princess Diana. Highlighting her personal style and endless humanitarian work, a portion of the profits from Timeless Icon will be donated to Clic Sargent, a charity that supports children and young people with cancer, coinciding with Diana’s passion for helping those in need.

And to celebrate the release of the book, Tod’s have also created a special version of the D Bag for S/S13 – the D.D. Bag. Made from the iconic calfskin leather and precious python, the new shape gives a modern twist on the original while maintaining the craftsmanship and attention to detail that the D Bag is known for.
