The Beirut-born human rights lawyer, who welcomed twins with Hollywood star husband George last year, has been stepping out in New York lately, sporting everything from highlighter-yellow outerwear to edgy leather skinnies.

Her latest ensemble was no exception, as the British-Lebanese barrister helped throw a celebratory party for Samantha Barry, the new editor-in-chief of Glamour US magazine.

The mother-of-two donned a striking scarlet lace corset with off-shoulder sleeves and a dramatic ankle-length train, which she teamed with charcoal denim and sleek black boots.

The piece was from the ’80s archives of French designer Isabelle Allard (and it’s not the first time Clooney has favoured vintage pieces either, after wearing this Versace mini dress last year).

The famed philanthropist was joined by stars including actress Sienna Miller, model Ashley Graham and designers Diane Von Furstenberg and Vera Wang at the bash, which was held at Anna Wintour’s New York home.

“A super special night hosted by two of my favourite women,” the magazine editor posted on Instagram following the party.

Clooney has been friends with Barry when the pair were both working in London, according to the Daily Mail, with Barry jetting to Venice for Clooney’s 2014 wedding to George.
