There’s a plane full of supplies on its way to the southern African nation right now.
HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein is a seriously inspiring woman in a lot of ways, but none more than her commitment to humanitarian aid.
So when she says a cause is worthy of our attention, we tend to listen.
This time around, the princess is talking about the need for emergency support in Angola.

On Instagram, HRH posted images of a plane loaded with supplies destined for vulnerable and poverty-stricken people in the republic.
The plane, which departed Dubai on Thursday, was carrying 105 metric tonnes of equipment and supplies. The airlift was put together by Emirates Red Crescent and the UAE’s International Humanitarian City.
“The aid will provide essential equipment and support to those who need it most,” Princess Haya’s caption read.

“The emergency airlift is a symbol of [the] UAE’s commitment to international humanitarian assistance and represents the first phase of a [Dhs8 million] medical and logistics relief program from the UAE to support the humanitarian situation in Angola.”
We’re not surprised to see Princess Haya posting in support of those who need help. In comparison to its wealth, the UAE gives more than any other nation on Earth.
“I am so proud of the fact that the UAE spends more on aid to develop other countries, compared to its wealth, than any other nation on earth,” Princess Haya wrote on Instagram last year.
With moves like this, we’re thinking the Emirates will retain that position throughout 2018.
