Ring in Chinese New Year
To celebrate moving into the Year of the Dog, world-famous Cantonese eatery Hakkasan has brought together some of its chefs around the globe to create a limited-edition menu. Available in both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai branches, the Dhs598 menu has been devised with ingredients thought to bestow happiness, longevity, luck and prosperity. Dishes include Szechuan wind-dried oyster, grilled Chilean sea bass with kumquat glaze, and a ginger caramel, roasted macadamia nut and lemongrass dessert.

See some masterpieces
A special showcase of works by iconic Spanish surrealist Salvador Dalí have just arrived in the Middle East for the very first time. Salvador Dali: The Memories brings together lithographs, photographs and original paintings sourced from private collections across the world, and it sounds like a pretty unmissable event.

Feel like a kid again
Wild Wadi Waterpark has just reopened after a spot of maintenance, and its limited-edition discounted pass means now might be the best time to visit (if you haven’t already). For Dhs99 instead of the usual Dhs200+ per adult, you can get access to all its rides and pools—although you have to book online to get the deal (and the amount of tickets available are capped, so you better be quick).

Luxury e-commerce fashion hub Ounass is launching its first pop-up, so for those of you that would rather see before you buy, you want to get down to The Only & Only before it end. There’ll be luxury and local designer pieces, from Chloé Nile bags to Gucci shoes, as well as personal shoppers and beauty experts on hand to help you nail down your look.

Work out under the sea
Well, almost… but you’ll feel like you are. Dubai Aquarium is relaunching its underwater yoga sessions, where you can stretch out as hundreds of fish swim relaxingly around you. The hour-long session gets you out of bed on a Saturday morning, and then you can grab brekkie in the mall. The class will be led by experts from Dubai’s Piloga studio, with this installment focused on the slow hatha flow discipline.

Tuck into some Italian fare
Bulgari Resort, the luxury hotel that opened up on Jumeira Bay Island just a couple of months ago, has just launched a new weekly Mediterranean feast that already has our bellies rumbling. BBQ Saturday, held at the resort’s La Spiaggia restaurant, will have you feeling like you’re at a bustling Italian market—and also an idyllic beachfront. Expect plenty of grilled fishes, fresh salads and moreish juices.
