“It is a melting pot of cultures with over 200 nationalities living there and they are welcoming to all,” says the TV show host of the city.
We need to get in the crowd of a US talk show stat, because the giveaways are out of the world.
(Well, not out of the world exactly—in fact, they’re rather close to home).

One very lucky audience at a recent taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show lucked out as part of the series’ 12 Days of Giveaways campaign, to celebrate the holiday period.
The prize in question? An all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai (check out the below video at around the six-minute mark to see the crowd’s ecstatic reaction).
The US show teamed up with Atlantis The Palm for the epic giveway, with a whopping 425 audience members winning a six-night stay at the five-star hotel.
The trip is valued at US$5,000 per person, meaning the prize total came in at a humungous US$2.17 million.
DeGeneres also had some rather kind words to say about our beloved city as she unveiled the luxury trip to her audience, telling the crowd Dubai is an “amazing place”.

DeGeneres is no stranger to the emirate, having visited in 2015, and the TV host loves to show the place off to her fans.
In fact, the Finding Nemo star teamed up with Emirates last year to treat her show’s guests to a round-trip flight to Dubai.
