Gwen Stefani’s on her own little Sweet Escape in the UAE.
She’s jetted in for the opening of a brand-new hotel, but Gwen Stefani made sure she fitted in some sightseeing during her brief visit to Dubai.
The No Doubt singer (and Hollaback Girl) was in town for a performance at the Renaissance Hotel in Business Bay on Monday, and from all accounts, she completely rocked it.

Stefani, who is also a judge on US reality show The Voice, flew in from London before heading out to the dunes and making a new winged friend.
“Wow, can’t believe I had such an incredible time here in Dubai, thank you so much to Cleatus, the hotel’s amazing navigator, who set up some incredible local experiences today,” the Grammy Award winner wrote.
Stefani also protected herself from any gusts of sand by wrapping up in a traditional headscarf.
Tickets for the Sweet Escape singer’s inaugural hotel show were only available to members of Marriott’s loyalty programs, Marriott Rewards Moments and SPG Moments—but we’re hoping some key clips will make it to social media.
The star also gave a nod to the Middle East earlier in the week, after donning Lebanese label Elie Saab to switch on some festive lights in London.
The cape is totally fitting for something with her star power.
Stefani isn’t the only A-lister to grace our shores in recent weeks either—actress and singer Jennifer Lopez dropped by just a couple of weeks ago for a gig at the Autism Rocks Arena.
The star also enjoyed dinners at Nobu in the Atlantis and Fairmont-based eatery Catch, as well as working out at Grosvenor Business Tower’s Bay Yoga Centre.
