What’s your favourite seasonal addition to a bouquet in winter?

This is a tough question for me. Being Australian, I have never really associated the festive season with winter. Instead, we celebrate outdoors by the beach and have barbeques in the hot summer sun. Eucalyptus and beautiful Christmas bush foliage always reminds me of the festive season. I love having “Christmas lilies” in the house as this is a tradition me and my husband have taken on from his family in New Zealand. The scent is amazing and very nostalgic to him.

Which signature bouquet would you suggest for a host during the festive season?

I would suggest anything that has a scent as it always will bring you back to this special time in the year. Everyone celebrates this festive season differently, so I don’t think there’s any right or wrong way to go.

What’s your favourite seasonal addition to a bouquet in winter?

I personally love to add unique elements during the winter season that aren’t available throughout the year such as pine cones and different dry elements that last for a longer timeframe. Think adding eucalyptus, painting the pine cones with gold and adding red flowers, for example, this gives a beautiful combination to the floral bouquet and adds a charming contrast that is reflected resulting in a classic look of green, gold, and red. As for the lovers of silver, your winter bouquet can include silver elements mixed with white roses for a gorgeous frosty look.

Personally, my signature festive bouquet includes more hues of white and silver mixed with sparkling elements and pinecones. Just like we have at the Forever Rose Cafe, I love to spray my bouquet with white and frost giving an indoor winter wonderland feeling.

What’s your favourite seasonal addition to a bouquet in winter?

The season really embodies a richness and so collections of juicy red ilex berries, ferrari amaryllis and deep red skimmia are some of our festive go-tos. We recommend using a large bunch of a single variety in each vase to give the ultimate winter indulgence.

There is no question that our ‘One Fine Night Centrepiece’ is the ultimate gift for a host, festive yet stylish and a total show stopper. This bouquet is ready to be placed so no unwrap- ping or arranging and is mixed with winter hydrangea, peony, red roses, bicolour garden rose and a touch of skimmia.

What’s your favourite seasonal addition to a bouquet in winter?

I love the winter season. You can find interesting blooms which are only abundant during this season. My favourite flowers to incorporate are viburnum berries, white amaryllis, anemones and some lilacs, when combined together it makes a gorgeous winter bouquet.

What’s your favourite seasonal addition to a bouquet in winter?

For winter bouquets, we love to offer the arrangements that bring warmth to the heart of a special one, or for a special occasion by composing a centrepiece that is a unique bouquet of flowers for the busy occasion season. With the delicate snowy touch of the season, we create our charmingly overflowing arrangements using the curly willow, ilex with the green and earthy appeal, bringing life into cold winter months.

Seeing as the festive season is one for all the glamorous and rich colours, we always make sure to be aligned with the spirit of this time. We add a magical touch of love to all of our arrangements to create a standout, eye-catching design that is inspired by winter’s ethereal touch. The Black and Blanc signature bouquet is our deli-cate Round Infinity Flowers Bouqbox, breaking the typical look of flower bouquets via the round box design. We have Red and Gold Infinity Roses, to match the spirit of the season by adding charm to their surroundings for years.

What’s your favourite seasonal addition to a bouquet in winter?

A beautiful addition to your flower arrangements this season would have to be bunches of Gypsophila. Their ex- otic white silhouette makes them look like little snowflakes, making them perfect for the winter festivities.

Which signature bouquet would you suggest for a host during the festive season?

I would suggest Butter’s Ivory and Violet floral box for the upcoming season. These boxes with dreamy hues will sit as a centrepiece in your home. Butter Mini’s will also be a wonderful giveaway for your guests.

For our autumn collection, our team has prepared stunning designs reflecting darker tones such as burgundy and deep red, inspired by the changing season. We’ve used peach and pink highlight colours, to delicately balance emotions, keeping an uplifting feeling in every flower bouquet.
