Merge art with charity

In the occasion of the Holy Month, Pullman Dubai in JLT has joined up with a non-profit art organisation and a day care centre for special needs children to launch a new art project – Little Picasso. A few local artists got together with the children to paint their masterpieces, which will be displayed in the hotel for sale. Take a breezy ride in a slide

This weekend, we’ve got the newly installed outdoor slide near Burj Park at the top of our ‘to see’ list. Mounted at a 30-degree angle (seven metres tall at its highest point), this 19-metre tube is just screaming out to everyone’s inner child – don’t even pretend you don’t want a ride. And being Dubai, the slide is built with state-of-the-art insulation to ensure the inside is always kept nice and cool, no matter how hot it gets outside. You’ll find the slide right next to The Residences, open from 4pm to 1am daily and totally free to use.

The Ripe Market has moved inside for summer

Now that it’s hot outside, don’t forget that Ripe Food & Crafts Market hasn’t disappeared, it’s just moved indoors. In their newly activated summer mode, find the incredibly popular produce and craft market at the Times Square Centre from now until the end of summer. Get together at The Majlis

At Dubai World Trade Centre, The Majlis is an annual Dubai tradition for the month of Ramadan. They’ll be providing some fine-dining by world class chefs for your daily Iftar and Suhour in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Every Monday between 3pm – 7pm throughout Ramadan, Wild Wadi Waterpark is offering free entry to anyone who donates at least three items of clothes. Have a raid through your wardrobe for those items you know you never wear and donate them to a charitable cause in exchange for a first-come first-service basis entry to the park. The clothing will be donated to the Beit Al Kheir Society, a non-proft that assists underprivileged families in the region. The Ripe Market has moved inside for summer

Starting this Tuesday, Reform Social & Grill new playdate for kids and families with be screening movies at 3pm and in the ‘Kids Corner’ you’ll find more fun and games and face-painting while Mums and Dads can enjoy the 15-strong vendor market. Taking place every Tuesday until 5th July inside an air-conditioned tent from 1pm – 5pm, this afternoon out is complete with a ‘kids afternoon tea’ menu and a deli menu. Reform Social & Grill, Emirates Golf Club.
