Expo 2020 Dubai is bringing people together from all around the world, but no grand-scale event in the UAE is complete without a royal visit, particularly when it’s one of the biggest events of the decade.

With over 192 pavilions to explore spanning over six months, there’s a lot of ground to cover at this mega-event, meaning many UAE royals have made multiple visits to the site.

Here’s some of the best moments thus far of UAE royals’ visits to Expo 2020 Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed

Expo 2020 Dubai has come together under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, so he’s, of course, made regular visits to the mega-event. However, one in particular that comes to mind was when he made a little girl’s wish come true.

Back in October, at the start of Expo 2020, the little girl was heartbroken she hadn’t met the Dubai Ruler. However, the little girl returned a couple of days later only to be given a spectacular royal surprise – meeting His Highness for the first time.

Before the official launch of the mega event, Sheikh Hamdan inspected the site, seeing how it was paving the way for Dubai on a global scale. He was also one of the first to inspect the metro system to the Expo 2020 site ahead of its launch.
