You are not short of Instagrammable hotels ranging from cute boutiques to extremely stylish resorts. Kensho is perched on top of a steep hill above Ornos beach with many of the rooms offering private plunge pools or Jacuzzis. Myconian Kyma is an ideal getaway for families and is positioned just outside Mykonos Town. For pure bohemia, check into the San Giorgio which has a little private beach carved into the rocks.

Rent a boat for a trip to Delos to visit a UNESCO world heritage site, located around half an hour away. If you are a fan of Greek mythology then you’ll already know that the island was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Make sure to capture the Terrace of Lions which is one of the most photographed parts of the site.

You’ll never appreciate the full taste of Mykonos unless you literally taste it. The flavours of the Mediterranean come alive at the beachside Kiki’s Tavern. The simple beach shack just has a grill, but what that grill does with the freshest ingredients is exceptional and well worth the long wait (definitely get there before the opening at 12.30). Spilia is an ideal spot for a romantic dinner by the sea but of its a livelier atmosphere you’re after, then grab one of the tables at Interni located in a large courtyard nestled in the heart of town.
The Pop-Up
You may not know this, but Mykonos is a great place for shopping with Christian Louboutin and Gucci both previously hosting pop-ups on the island. Now it’s Burberry’s turn as the British house opens its store in Nammos Village. It takes inspiration from the attitude of the fashion house’s redesigned flagship store on 121 Regent Street in London and will stock SS 2019 collection entitled Kingdom, as well as the new Thomas Burberry Monogram line. It will remain open until October

After seeing Ftelia Beach Club you will want to call up the architect Fabrizio Casiraghi and get him to redesign your entire home. The uber stylish beach club has a frontline location with an uninterrupted, panoramic view of the sea. Unwind under the sun, sip on fresh juices and dig into a menu packed with intricate dishes such as the Mykonian sea urchin with scorched bread or the grilled octopus with beetroot puree and tarama.
